Women Of Green is proud to be a media partner in the 6th Annual Women In Green Forum to be held August 26th in Los Angeles, California. Promoted as a unique conference experience set in the hills of Los Angeles, the Women In Green Forum has emerged as the premier conference series highlighting women’s impact on the environmental industry.
From the White House to Fortune 500 company leaders, our annual program features the environmental industry’s brightest and most innovative speakers. Each year, Women In Green searches to find a unique venue to host an exceptional speaker lineup, interactive workshops, and professional networking opportunities. The 2015 event will take place in a retreat-like environment set high in the hills of Los Angeles at TreePeople, a non-profit organization whose mission it to inspire and support the people of LA to come together to plant and care for trees, harvest the rain, and renew depleted landscapes.
The program features today’s leading innovators, entrepreneurs, corporate leaders and policymakers who are helping shape a future based on sustainable practices and technologies.
Designed with a focus on engagement, they have eliminated the PowerPoint slideshow from this year’s sessions and are challenging speakers to share their stories using interactive tools to connect with attendees. The 2015 Program is designed to bring people into discussions about today’s greatest environmental challenges with the experts who are developing solutions for a more sustainable future. No PowerPoints. No long lectures. Straight talk…questions encouraged.

SUSTAINABLE EVENT STRATEGY
In an effort to minimize its environmental impact, the Women In Green Forum event planning process is guided by Three Squares Inc’s sustainable event policy which is compliant with the international standard, ISO20121. This standard was popularized by the 2012 London Olympics and requires that event organizers consider the impact of all event related activities within the areas of energy and water efficiency, carbon emissions, event waste, as well as sustainable catering, decor and event supplies.
